West Milford made new history and settled an old score.
The Highlanders captured their first sectional title in boys soccer by defeating Ramsey, 1-0, in the North 1, Group 2 final on Nov. 14.
Senior Noah Christian scored for the Highlanders in the 45th minute, volleying home a cross to the left post. It was a rematch from last years semifinal when Ramsey won 4-0.

Waldwick repeated as the North 1, Group 1 sectional champion, beating Emerson 3-0 in penalty kicks after both teams went scoreless in regulation and extra time.
Jayden Medellin scored the winning penalty kick.
Emerson, the top seed, was searching for its first sectional title.
