Tyran Stokes, the No. 1-ranked player in the Class of 2026, has enrolled at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle.
The 6-foot-7, 225-pound small forward withdrew from Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA, earlier this month. He is the nations No. 1-ranked player, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. All three major recruiting sites rank Stokes No. 1 overall.
Stokes had been dealing with disciplinary issues at Notre Dame, Tarek Fattal of Sports Illustrated reported Wednesday. This includes conflicts with other students. Stokes had decided to play football at Notre Dame earlier this fall.
He served a suspension that kept him sidelined during multiple high school football games this season, and has not been at school this week, according to sources close to the situation, Fattal wrote.
It remains to be seen where Stokes will attend to play college basketball. Kentucky fans are hoping its with UK, and he has taken visits with Kentucky, Kansas, and Oregon. Those are his final three schools. Oregon is the closest of those three schools to Seattle.
