Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson is considered week to week with a sprained left MCL, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.
Ferguson limped off field with 6:23 remaining in the third quarter being tackled on a short completion. He caught three of his five targets for 15 yards in the Cowboys’ 33-17 victory against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
He broke out in his second NFL season in 2023, ranking ninth among tight ends in receptions (71) and eighth in receiving yards (761). Only six tight ends caught more than his five touchdowns.
If he were to miss time, second-year pro Luke Schoonmaker could be an option at the position for the Cowboys.
