See who made the Licking County League football lists

NEWARK The Licking Valley and Heath football teams finished unbeaten in Licking County League play this season to win its respective Buckeye Division and Cardinal Division championships. Their top players and coaches recently were among those recognized by the LCL.

Valley senior Quinn Hornfeck was named the Buckeye Division Defensive Back of the Year, and classmate Maverick Weaver was named the Buckeye Division Offensive Lineman of the Year. Randy Baughman was named the Buckeye Division Coach of the Year for the Panthers.

Heath senior J.J. Holloway was named the Cardinal Division Defensive Back of the Year, and classmate Carter Mason was the Cardinal Division recipient of the Ernie Godfrey Award. Tim Ward was named the Cardinal Division Coach of the Year for the Bulldogs.

Granville senior Kyle Kirby was named the Buckeye Division Offensive Back of the Year, and classmate Bode Shoaps was named the Buckeye Division Special Teams Player of the Year.

Johnstown junior Ryan Sager was named the Cardinal Division Offensive Back of the Year, and senior Greyson Goodman was named the Cardinal Division Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Utica senior Kamden Hall was named the Defensive Lineman of the Year. Northridge senior Charlie Kinkead was named the Cardinal Division Special Teams Player of the Year.

Mount Vernon senior Luke Mullins was named the Buckeye Division Defensive Lineman of the Year, and classmate Nolan White was the Buckeye Division recipient of the John H. McConnell Award.
