Sabres Should Make Trade For Interesting Flyers Forward

The Buffalo Sabres are looking to add to their roster. One specific area they should look to improve is their forward group, and the Philadelphia Flyers have an interesting option in forward Morgan Frost.

Frost is a young forward who could use a change of scenery. He has had trouble fitting into Flyers head coach John Tortorella’s system and has been scratched multiple times because of it. However, while this is the case, there is no denying that he has offensive talent.

In his two previous seasons, Frost had at least 40 points in each of them. In 19 games this season, he has three goals and nine points. While he has had a bit of a slow start to the 2024-25 campaign, he is trending in the right direction as of late, posting two goals and an assist over his last two games.

If the Sabres acquired Frost, he would provide them with another option for their middle six and power play because of his playmaking ability. In addition, when noting that the 2017 first-round pick is just 25 years old, he still has the potential to hit another level. Perhaps a change of scenery could be the push he needs to do just that.
