Alright, now! The Blast told you about Megan Thee Stallion’s epic new partnership with Fanatics Sportsbook some time ago, and the moment has finally arrived.
Hot Girl ambassador Megan Thee Stallion commands the center of attention in a fresh, exciting new advertisement for Fanatics Sportsbook, dubbed “Explained by Megan.” The 30-second promo clip takes place on a dramatically lit basketball court and features the Grammy-winning rapper commanding a 25-piece orchestra from center court.
Throughout the ad, Megan Thee Stallion talks about how winning at Fanatics hits differently, highlighting the FanCash earned on both winning and losing bets that can be redeemed for “authentic NBA merchandise and game tickets, collectibles, one-of-a-kind experiences, Bonus Bets, and more.”
The new Fanatics ad starring Megan Thee Stallion features the performer’s hit single, “Savage,” which also came with a remix featuring global popstar Beyoncé. Directed by Grammy-winning filmmaker Calmatic, the new spot turns the traditional sportsbook ad on its head, showing Megan conducting an orchestra of musicians dressed in team colors from across the NBA.
“Megan Thee Stallion embodies the heartbeat of fandom where music, fashion, and sport collide and brings an energy that turns basketball season into a full-blown cultural moment. Shes the perfect partner to show how Fanatics Sportsbook makes winning hit different,” Selena Kalvaria, Chief Marketing Officer at Fanatics Betting and Gaming, said in a press release sent to The Blast.
There’s still more to come from Fanatics and Megan Thee Stallion’s newfound partnership. According to the release sent to The Blast, the “WAP” rapper will star in another ad later this month, talking all about the company’s industry-leading Fair Play Injury Protection policy.
Megan Thee Stallion previously made headlines in October 2025 when Fanatics Sportsbook teased its working relationship with the A-lister by sharing an exciting clip of the “HISS” lyricist online.
At the time, Fanatics said it would be using Megan Thee Stallion to shed light on the expansion of the Fair Play policy, which will now cover the entire first half of every NBA regular-season game during the 2025-26 season.
In addition to Megan Thee Stallion, Fanatics Sportsbook has partnered with other big names to inform the masses about how it differs from the rest.
Before the start of this NFL season, LSU alum Livvy Dunne starred in her own “Explained By” campaign, a move the company said aligned with its “disruptor brand” status.
“By leveraging the power of Fanatics and working with a cultural force like Livvy, were telling our story in a way that expands our reach with existing betting audiences and speaks to new ones, too. With Livvy, we have a national champion showing up in unexpected ways to explain what makes Fanatics Sportsbook different, and more rewarding, for sports fans,” Kalvaria said.
Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel also joined forces with the company for season two of his podcast, “Glory Daze,” in which he promotes the company’s FanCash rewards.
“This season we talk to athletes still in the glory daze, former athletes, and even notable fans, said Manziel. Having been through some unforgettable moments myself, I know how important it is to share the real stories behind what fans saw on the field.”
He continued, “We’ve lined up some amazing guests who have those same experiences – career-defining moments that fans still talk about today. This season is all about going deeper into those stories and connecting with the fans who remember these glory days just as vividly as we do. It’s about celebrating the moments that shaped the sports we love.”
Megan Thee Stallion’s partnership with Fanatics might seem random to some; however, it makes perfect sense, considering the 30-year-old is living her best life with NBA champion Klay Thompson.
The Blast covered the news in the summer of 2025 when images of the two celebs spotted on an intimate beach vacation went viral.
Since then, Megan Thee Stallion and Thompson have officially hard-launched their relationship, sharing steamy clips online and making their red-carpet debut together.
Megan Thee Stallion has even been spotted courtside, cheering Thompson on during his games with the Dallas Mavericks while wearing stunning pieces and flashy jewelry.
Netizens couldn’t help but notice the star’s aura either, with one writing on X, formerly Twitter, “Megan Thee Wag,” while another posted a meme, giving the Texas Southern University graduate 10s across the board.
