The rival schools are located only 23 miles away from each other, with College Park, Maryland, and the Georgetown campus in between.
The renewed rivalry will kick off with a game at Maryland in the Xfinity Center in the 2025-26 season.
Two of the legends who contributed to the rivalry were not enthusiastic about its continuation.
