ESPN's Holly Rowe pops back up from tackle and provides her own injury update at Miami-Florida State

The job of college football sideline reporter comes with some occupational hazards. They didn’t even phase ESPN’s Holly Rowe on Saturday.

As she stood on the sidelines of No. 3 Miami’s impressive showing against No. 18 Florida State, the broadcasting veteran got taken out at the knees by an avalanche of players in the third quarter. Almost as quickly, she got back up and immediately addressed her colleagues in the booth.

“I have an injury update on myself. I’m good,” Rowe said, before proceeding to break down the Miami defense.

“I was waiting for you guys to talk, my backpedal was off,” Rowe said. She also playfully scolded the nearby Michael Irvin for not protecting her more, before promising to protect the NFL Hall of Famer during the next run-in with players.

That’s all veteran stuff from a reporter who has been manning sidelines for ESPN across all sports for the past three decades.
