Between staying at Manchester on a reduced contract or giving in to the allure of Saudi Arabia, hell soon have to make
Casemiro: United offers an extension with a much lower salary
Casemiro has never stopped attracting interest from Saudi Arabia. Yet Manchester United is still trying to keep hold of their experienced midfielder. The club is looking to extend his contract but only if he accepts a massive pay cut.
The Brazilian, whose deal is about to expire, could see his stay extended until 2027 thanks to a clause in his current contract. The issue? His £350,000-per-week salary is considered far too high by the clubs management.
According to Indykaila News, United is ready to offer him a new deal, estimated between £120,000 and £150,000 per week. A dramatic pay cut that Casemiro will have to accept if he wants to continue his adventure at Old Trafford. At the same time, he is expected to hold talks with several Saudi clubs, who remain keen on bringing him in.
