Its no secret that Cleveland has one of the top-ranked rookie classes in 2025, at least from an on-field production perspective, aside from Dillon Gabriel.
Guys like Carson Schwesinger, Quinshon Judkins, Harold Fannin Jr., and Mason Graham have not only played in every game and dominated the snap share at their respective positions, but theyre performing incredibly well. The Browns 2025 rookie class has combined for a league-leading 3,210 snaps so far this season, and each one of them undoubtedly shows the traits and potential to be stars for the team going forward.
Carson Schwesinger and Mason Graham have already gotten national attention for their play, and both of them could garner postseason awards if they continue at their current pace.
Its also safe to say that Quinshon Judkins is Clevelands workhorse back of the future, and Dylan Sampson has looked like a nice complement to Judkins style. Sampsons already shown the ability to threaten defenses as both a runner and pass-catcher out of the backfield.
Harold Fannin Jr. has looked like a Pro Bowl tight end at times with the ball in his hands, and he still leads the team in receiving. His in-line blocking has already improved since being in Cleveland as well, which was a potential weak spot in his game.
Shedeur Sanders value to the team is yet to be seen, but maybe hell get a string of starts to end the season if the coaching staff feels that hes ready. Despite fans and the outside world screaming at the organization for not playing Shedeur earlier, its really not hard to see what the team is doing. They dont want Sanders morale and/or learning curve to be stymied by the lack of success in 2025.
Its a win-win situation for both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders right now. Gabriel gets the experience he needs to develop into a career backup, and Shedeur has the freedom to sit and learn for a long period of time without being thrown into the fire like every other Cleveland rookie quarterback has had to do for the last 15 years.
