Follow live: Can Biles, Team USA reclaim their gymnastics crown?

With the last two individual all-around Olympic champions Simone Biles and Suni Lee finishing first and third in qualification, along with Jade Carey in fourth, Team USA is the favorite heading into the team final in women’s artistic gymnastics. After a silver medal finish in Tokyo, Team USA is looking to get back to the top of the medal stand, where they were in London in 2012 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

In fact, Team USA hasn’t missed the podium in the women’s artistic gymnastics team event since 1988. Biles and Lee, who will both look to become the first woman since 1968 to win two Olympic gold medals in the individual all-around, anchor the team, along with Carey, Tokyo Games silver medalist Jordan Chiles and Olympic rookie Hezly Rivera.
