The final major championship of the year teed off on Thursday morning in Scotland, where its expected to be cold, windy and rainy throughout the week. McIlroy, who slipped at the end of the U.S. Open and hasnt won a major championship in a decade now, will play alongside Max Homa and Tyrrell Hatton at 5:09 a.m. ET in the morning wave. Reigning U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau is set to go off just before him.
