The biggest annual international figure skating event held on U.S. soil is back that’s right, get ready for Skate America 2025.
Skate America returns to Lake Placid, New York this weekend and the competition will be fierce. The field for the Grand Prix includes some of the sport’s best, like reigning world champions Alysa Liu (women’s singles), Madison Chock and Evan Bates (ice dance) and Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara (pairs).
Skate America is the fifth of six International Skating Union (ISU) events this season, which will culminate in December’s Grand Prix Final. Each competition holds extra weight as athletes head into the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics.
