Former Real Madrid & AC Milan Coach Praises Chivu & Inter Milan As Italys Most European Team Ahead Of Derby

Carlo Ancelotti, now head coach of Brazil, has lauded Cristian Chivus Inter Milan in a wide-ranging interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, describing the Nerazzurri as the most European team in Italy and tipping them to remain in the title race until the end.

The legendary Italian tactician praised Inters consistency, crediting both Chivu and club CEO Beppe Marotta for maintaining the standards set under Simone Inzaghi.

The derby? It will be as balanced as Serie A itself, Ancelotti said, with quotes via FCInter1908.

Inter have kept the same structure and Chivu is following Inzaghis line. Inter are a very solid team, like Milan, so I expect a tight match.

He highlighted Inters record in Europe as proof of their elite level.

Inter are the most European team we have. Theyre doing brilliantly in the Champions League, where theyve won every match and come off two finals in three years. Theyve maintained that level with great consistency. Marotta is a truly capable director and has done an excellent job.

Ancelotti also shared his thoughts on Serie As balance this season, pointing to Romas surprise leadership and Milans advantage of not playing in Europe.

Meanwhile he also acknowledged Juventus efficiency and Napolis continued presence near the top.

Serie A is beautiful and balanced, he noted.

Inter have been one of the strongest performers in the league this season, getting over a difficult start to the campaign.

However, the Nerazzurri have failed to beat Napoli or Juventus.
