According to a new report from Defensa Central, Eduardo Camavinga will not feature in Frances upcoming World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan and is instead preparing to return to Real Madrid, where the club will assess the extent of his latest physical setback.
The decision comes after the midfielder was left out of Frances first match of the international break against Ukraine.
Before the match kicked off, the French federation confirmed that Camavinga had been withdrawn due to muscle discomfort.
The initial hope had been that he might recover in time for the second fixture, but fresh information now makes it clear that the midfielder has been definitively ruled out for the remainder of the break.
Now, it is said that Camavinga will definitely miss Sundays game against Azerbaijan and will travel back to Madrid within hours so that the clubs medical department can carry out the necessary examinations.
The concern at Real Madrid stems from the fact that Camavinga has recently shouldered a heavy workload.

Alarm bells reportedly rang at Valdebebas after Camavinga trained individually with a physiotherapist during Wednesdays session and was later separated from the group.
The pain he began experiencing in Madrid persisted, prompting a cautious approach from both the national team and the club, especially since Aurelien Tchouameni us out injured too
Real Madrid will now hope that the issue is minor, especially considering Camavingas importance to Alonsos tactical plans and the demanding schedule awaiting the team after the break.
