The summer transfer window is open for the Premier League and is set to open across Europe soon, and there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of finalising a deal for VfB Stuttgart forward Serhou Guirassy, reports Fabrizio Romano.

It is reported that Dortmund have won the race for the forward, after receiving the “green light” from Guirassy with the formal steps to follow. The tweet suggests that Dortmund will activate the modest release clause of 17.5 million, which has been a value that has attracted the attention of many clubs.

The 28-year-old has shot to prominence following a remarkable season in Germany. Guirassy notched 28 goals in 28 Bundesliga appearances, leaving Stuttgart in a difficult position to keep their talisman this summer.

Several Premier League clubs were linked with Guirassy, including Arsenal. However, Dortmund have seemingly emerged victorious in the pursuit, though the deal is yet to be finalised.

Dortmund are not short on options up front with the German giants able to call upon Niclas Füllkrug, Sébastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko. However, with Guirassy’s arrival looking likely, this could plunge, in particular, Haller and Moukoko’s futures at the club in doubt.

– Manchester United are progressing in their pursuit of Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee, reports Sky Sports. It is reported that whilst the move is edging forward, there have been no talks with Zirkzee’s representatives yet. However, it is understood that the Red Devils are prepared to activate the striker’s 40m release clause, though personal terms are reported to be the major hurdle to overcome.

– Tottenham have an interest in AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana, but are behind AC Milan in the race, per Football Insider. It is reported that Spurs are on alert in case a proposed move to Milan falls through. The 25-year-old has one year left on his deal with Monaco, leaving the French side under pressure to facilitate his departure this summer to ensure they receive a fee. Fofana registered four goals and four assists in Ligue 1 last season, attracting interest from several clubs in the process.

– AC Milan are interested in a loan move for Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku, however, the Blues are only interested in a permanent deal, reveals Calciomercato. The 31-year-old spent last season on loan with AS Roma, however, Chelsea are now keen to part ways with the Belgian permanently. The report reveals that Chelsea are seeking £38m to facilitate a departure, however, this is not of interest to Milan. Instead, it is reported that the Italian giants would prefer a loan deal, with Lukaku keen to return to Serie A.

– Internazionale have a concrete interest in Bologna winger Dan Ndoye, reveals Sky Sports Deutschland’s Florian Plettenberg. The Switzerland international is under contract with Bologna until 2027, meaning the Italian outfit are under no immediate pressure to part ways with the 23-year-old. Ndoye has enjoyed a promising European Championship campaign, with several clubs monitoring his situation.

– Napoli are closing in on Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno, per Nicolo Schira. It is reported that Napoli have already agreed to personal terms with Torino’s vice-captain, which will see him finalise a contract until 2029 and earn an annual salary of 2.5m. Schira also reveals that Napoli are confident of securing a deal following the conclusion of the European Championship. The 25-year-old has emerged as a vital player for Torino over the last couple of seasons, with several clubs in Europe previously being linked to Buongiorno.
