The Giants are releasing safety Jalen Mills, according to multiple reports.
Mills, whom the Giants signed in March, had been on the NFI (non-football injury) list due to a calf strain, but is now healthy and expected to draw interest, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The injury Mills suffered occurred when he was not doing NFL activity, leading to his placement on the NFI list.
Mills, 30, has played for the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots during his eight-year career that began in 2016.
