Former Augustana forward Brian Silver has transferred back to Miami (Ohio), the team announced this past week.

A product of Lake Bluff, Ill., Silver spent three seasons with the RedHawks before heading to Augustana.
With the Vikings this past season, Silver went pointless in 16 regular season games. Over the course of 53 career NCAA games, Silver has scored two goals and added an assist for three points.
Prior to jumping into the NCAA, Silver played junior hockey with the Omaha Lancers (USHL), putting up 29 points in 109 regular season games over parts of three seasons.
As Silver gets set to head back to the RedHawks for his final NCAA season, he could be a decent depth piece for the team. While he hasn’t produce eye-popping numbers in the NCAA, there is always the chance that Silver could find an extra gear.
