2025 MLB All-Star Game: Full rosters announced, 5 Los Angeles Dodgers selected

MLB has gone to great lengths to keep fans informed about the 2025 All-Star Game. First, the league unveiled the two biggest vote-getters. Those two players New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge and Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani were automatically named starters.

The league then opened things up to another round of voting, which determined the rest of the starting lineup around Judge and Ohtani.

With those issues settled, there’s just one thing left for the league to do: Announce the rest of the All-Star rosters, including pitchers and reserves, ahead of the July 15 event.

The league unveiled the full 2025 MLB All-Star Game rosters Sunday, which saw a handful of players receive the honor for the first time.

Without further ado, here’s how the American League roster will shake out July 15.

The pitchers and reserves elected to the All-Star Game were chosen by a combination of player votes and the commissioner’s office. Every team needs to have at least one representative, which may explain why some talented players were left off the final roster.

There’s still a chance for some of those snubs to make the final All-Star roster. Any player who gets injured prior to the All-Star Game will be replaced on the roster. The same thing will happen with pitchers who throw too close to the contest. If they won’t be available to take part in the All-Star Game, another player will be named to the roster as a replacement.
